Popcorn Time!

These are a few of my favourite films!

[To the Sound of Music Website] The first picture I saw at the Cinema was The Sound of Music. I was six years old and I left the Cinema, carrying a hankie drenched in tears, totally entranced with the film.

My next memorable movie going experience was Young Frankenstein, sorry that should be Fronkenstein. I went to see this movie with my old friend Christine Hindmarsh, she laughed so long and loud that I threatened to move seats - eventually I did. There is only so much uncoolness a 14yr old can take!

Nowadays the humour seems so slow but sharing the memories about the film with a good friend is brilliant! August 1997 in London I met my friend Maya for the first time. Suddenly, over dinner, we had this affinity as we exchanged quote after quote... "Roll, roll, roll in ze hay!" - "What Knockers!" "Oh thank you Doctor" - "Hump? What Hump?" - "Frau Blucher" (horses neighing) - "Put the candle back!" . Her now husband, Rick, looked on in bemusement.

My favourite sounds from the film 'Young Frankenstein'

I have found a brilliant website that you might wish to check out that has lots of Young Fronkenstein quotes in .wav file format. Here are three of my favourites quotes from the film.

"What Knockers!" - 50K file size
"Put the candle back!" - 33K file size
"Sweet mystery of life at last I've found you!" - 132K file size

Star Wars - phoooar... Harrison Ford :)

After the fifth time of seeing The first Star Wars film in a fortnight I was still gobsmacked! Better was The Empire Strikes Back, I cannot even begin to know how many times I have seen that film. Very awful was Return Of The Jedi. The film was sooooo childish unfortunately, catering for the younger audience I guess.

I am looking forward to Episode 1 of the now famous Space Adventure series due to be released Summer 1999 very very much. I hope it is made in the same genre of Empire Strikes Back as it was certainly the most adult one of the three so far.
